
Blue Waves Child Blanket
I got here up with this fast and simple blanket as a result of I’ve had this yummy yarn in my stash for some time simply ready for the proper undertaking to point out off the ombre impact. Nicely, turned out I used to be in want of a child boy blanket, so off work I went. My completed blanket is about 32″ x 34″. That is the Blue Waves Child Blanket.

- MC – Caron Merely Mushy Ombre – Saturday Blue Denims – 4 skeins
- CC – Small quantity of a contrasting coloration – I used white
- 5.0mm or Dimension H Hook
- Tapestry Needle
If you want to alter the dimensions, that is labored in multiples of 6 + 2.
Chain 98 with MC.
Row 1 – Sc in first chain from the hook, *hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc; repeat from * to finish. Flip.
Row 2 – Ch 4 (counts as first tr), *dc, hdc, sc, hdc, dc, tr; repeat from * to finish. Flip.
Row 3 – Ch 1; sc in first sew, *hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc; repeat from * to finish. Flip.
Repeat rows 2 and three till you attain the specified size. End off. I did 64 rows on mine.


Border
Row 1 – Change to CC by attaching in any nook by placing 3 sc within the nook. Sc round all 4 edges, with 3 sc in every nook. Be part of with slst to starting and end off.
Row 2 – Be part of MC within the 2nd sc of any nook and ch 3; in similar sew, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc. *Skip 2 sc, in subsequent sew 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc; repeat from * to subsequent nook. In nook sew, 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc. Proceed round to starting, slst to high of ch 3. End off and weave in ends.
